THIS IS ALL SORTS OF AMAZING
I swear this is what I have eaten today:
Before work: 3 chocolates from my valentine
Morning: 3 home made caramels, half a stick of starburst, a dove chocolate heart
Lunch: Salad and a cupcake
Through out the afternoon : the second half of the starburst, a couple extra starburst, 2 more dove hearts, another cupcake, a reeces peanut butter cup, an airhead
Dinner: 5 guys little burger and regular fries
Oh and to add to the awesomeness of my diet today, I had one glass of water with lunch and now am on my second glass of wine after making it home.
I don’t know why I thought I was 6 years old today and could live off a diet like that, but damn ya’ll… I’m going to be feeling it tomorrow.
I received a pretty discouraging e-mail earlier tonight.
One thing I take pride in is my ability to not let things affect me. (sometimes it’s bad, but mostly it’s good) But tonight, it was tough.
So at 10 p.m. while still feeling a little down I realized that the only thing I can do is run. Sometimes it’s the only thing that makes sense.
So I bundled up (29F / -2C), forced a smile, snapped a picture (like a good blogger should) and hit the streets. I ran until I was no longer faking my smile and ran back. Sometimes runs aren’t measured in miles or minutes.
It was dark.
It was cold.
And it was what I needed.
[Yes those are socks on my hands. Mind your own business]
“I ran until I was no longer faking my smile and ran back. Sometimes runs aren’t measured in miles or minutes.”
Love it.
I can’t remember that exact day I went to yoga, but it was about two weeks ago and at 6am. While it was fun to wake up that early in the morning (not) I actually felt productive that day.
Anyway, I went again tonight and it felt sooo much hotter and the room was so much more crowded. So crowded I couldn’t do some positions correctly :/ But the instructor was amazing.
The next few weeks I really need to get going on my running training 32 days, 9 hours, 33 minutes…
A dinner conversation.
Ben: Meemaw, after some public outcry, we decided to add Portland to the tour.
Meemaw: Good. You needed to do that. Portland is a great city.
Pa laughs
Ben: What are you laughing about?
Pa: Her telling us what’s what.
Meemaw: I have to! You need senior advisory.
Portland, baby!
Yessss—-I’m down!
And Meemaw is right Portland is a great city!
whoa janelle, blown away. idk why she’s wasting her time with teen mom 2 with talent like this.
I just can’t with this.
Important.
Went to my first Bikram Yoga class yesterday from m 20 classes for $20 Groupon.
It was intense. 105 degrees for 90 minutes. The poses weren’t as intense as I was expecting, but the heat made it something special. It wasn’t unbearable, but just not my thing. I will have to give it another chance.
